So they stuck it out on Footscray like that old VR tram we had there.

I wonder what kind of damned idiot would build a car with a two piece windscreen with the split directly in front of the driver.

Duh!

It wasn't a bad running car though. Did it have K-35 controllers?

With all the modifications demanded by the union, and trying hard to be a "Z"........ For a short time 1041 had a regular 8hour run from Essendon Depot on the Footscray 82 route.
