extinguished before any other equipment or buildings suffered major
damage."
The ST&RPS had previously had their Sydney steam tram collection
ravaged by a fire at their former location at Parramatta Park which
destroyed many of their exhibits. They been scrambling very hard to
find any remaining Sydney steam tram rolling stock to replace the
items destroyed in the Parramatta fire, so the damage to this steam
tram trailer would be big blow to their preservation efforts.
