Yappers Y Class

It is incorrect to say the Yappers were a failure,had production gone
ahead for Collin st Y class 469 would have been the first of thirty
cars,as Greg said at the time it would have been a major change in
constuction methods when at the time trams were required in a
hurry,so the W2class that was easy and quick to build was built.
Later on another attempt to build this class of tram resulted in the
Y1's 610,611,612,613,this order was halted due financial reasons,
