Hi Dave,

Re '02' - you have my admiration for hanging around on that day to get
the pics. I drove through that very spot about 15 minutes earlier and
didn't even think of stopping in that torrential downpour!

Re '03' - it can't be 938 ... the car pictured is a W5. Perhaps 758??

The historical occasion was of course the political crisis leading up to
"The Dismissal" when the Queen's representative dismissed the elected
government.

Mal Rowe ... who was there for both events!
