The attached pic shows 6040 running out towards West Preston last Friday.

Trams run out from a single track squeezed in between the Store and the hump bridge behind the Give Way sign at the far

left.

6040 would have run onto the eastbound track then immediately crossed over to the west bound track.

Trams running out to the Bundoora line run a bit further bang road then reverse to get to High St / Plenty rd on the far side of the hump.

It's not a big risk as Miller St between St georges Rd and the bridge is virtually (and probably legally) a private road.

The footpath across the bridge however is a public path.
