The Newcastle line is actually shorter than the Sydney Tramway Museum's route!

And it doesn't help that for many months they have been down one tram, so they have no operational spare, so when one of the remaining cars has to go in for it's regular inspection, they have to cut back the service frequency.

This will not be endearing itself to prospective users.

Hop off the train, walk over to the tram platform, find the next service is in 20 minutes, so you walk instead and still get to your destination before the tram would.
