Flinders St: still with a lane closed for tunnel works?
Because of tunnel works, Degraves St subway at Flinders St is closed until 2024. No platform transfer via Degraves St subway. Passengers should use Elizabeth & Swanston St entry/exits.  Campbell Arcade remains closed to 2024. Platform  interchange via that subway was available until mid 2022.
Mernda/Hurstbridge lines: All trains direct to/from Flinders St all day (works).  From loop stations, take a train from pfm 3 to Flinders St. From Southern Cross, take a train from pfm 13 to Flinders St.
Buses replace trains on sections of the Hurstbridge line until 3.00 Sun.30.4.
- buses will continue replacing trains between Macleod and Hurstbridge until 6.00 Sun 30 Apr (works).
Buses replace trains on sections of the Lilydale/Belgrave lines until late May (works).
Buses replace trains Burnley - Alamein until the last train of Sun 30 Apr (works).  Buses are replacing trains Burnley - Box Hill during this time.
Pakenham/Cranbourne lines: All trains direct to/from Flinders St all day (works).  From loop stations, take a train from pfm 4 to Richmond. From Southern Cross, take a train from pfm 13 to Flinders St.
Frankston line: Trains will run to an altered timetable until mid 2023 (works).  Trains will stop at all stations Caulfield - Cheltenham all day.
- Trains will not stop at Glen Huntly until Aug.2023 (works). Shuttle buses operate Caulfield - Glen Huntly - Ormond. No access to station facilities during this time.
- Trains will operate as a shuttle service between Caulfield and Frankston from until to 5.00 (works). Change from/to a Pak/Cran train at Caulfield.  Passengers for Hawksburn, Toorak, Armadale or Malvern, change at South Yarra or Caulfield for a replacement bus.
Sandringham line: Buses replace trains South Yarra - Elsternwick until 5.00 Sat 29 Apr (works).
4.33  Pakenham/Cranbourne lines: Major delays (equipment faults in the Hughesdale area) continuing from 1.52.
- 6.50 Buses replace trains Caulfield - Westall. Buses are in operation, adding 45 min. [there was a time when Oakleigh could have been used]
- 8.27 Limited train services have resumed.  Cranbourne trains will operate as shuttles Flinders St - Caulfield & Westall - Cranbourne.
- 12.09 Normal services have resumed.
10.47 Buses to replace trains Dandenong - Pakenham (a person being hit by a train). Replacement buses may take over 60 min to arrive; consider alternatives.
- 11.00 buses may take over 50 min to arrive.
- 11.10 buses may take over 40 min to arrive.
- 11.15 buses may take over 30 min to arrive.
- 11.30 buses may take over 20 min to arrive.
- 11.40 buses are in operation, adding travel time.
- 15.33 Trains are resuming.
12.35 Owing to a tram fault at Glen Huntly, no route 67 trams run between Stop 61 Glenhuntly station and Carnegie.
- 12.42 Frankston line: Major delays (a vehicle blocking tracks in the Glen Huntly area). Trains may be altered.
- 12.44 Tram passengers may consider Pak/Cran trains or bus 624 along Watson Gve/ Neerim Rd as an alternative.
- 13.17 Route 67 trams have resumed, with delays.
- 13.22 Trains are now on the move, with major delays clearing.

- 7.06 buses are continuing to replace trains until at least 7.30.
- 7.35 buses are continuing to replace trains.  We are working hard to resume train services.
- 9.29 Trains have resumed after 'upgrade' works.
- 11.27 What caused these works to overrun by more than 6 hours? There were some challenges connecting the new signalling equipment into the existing infrastructure which required additional testing.
- Given new stations usually open on a Sunday and the timeframe for the new Union Station is late May, my guess is it’ll open on Sunday 28 May.
- After a month's closure, 6 hours extra is not even 1% more. Grow up, its Sunday
