Sunbury line: Buses replace trains North Melbourne - Sunshine until the last train of Sun 7 Apr (maintenance works).
Sunbury/Craigieburn/Upfield lines: All trains direct to/from Flinders St all day (maintenance works).  From loop stations, take a Swanston St tram to Flinders St.
Buses replace trains North Melbourne - Upfield until the last train of Sun 7 Apr (maintenance works).
Mernda/Hurstbridge lines: All trains direct to/from Flinders St all day (works).  From loop stations, take a Swanston St tram to Flinders St.
Pakenham/Cranbourne lines: All trains direct to/from Flinders St all day (maintenance works). From Melbourne Southern Cross and loop stations, take a Lilydale/Belgrave/Glen Waverley train to Richmond.
Frankston line: Trains will not stop at Parkdale until mid 2024 (level-crossing removal work). Shuttle buses will operate Mentone - Parkdale - Mordialloc, connecting with trains. No access to station facilities or platforms during this time.
Trains will operate as a shuttle service between Caulfield and Frankston until to 6.30 (works).  Change from/to a Pakenham/Cranbourne train.  Passengers for Hawksburn, Toorak, Armadale or Malvern, change at South Yarra or Caulfield for a replacement bus.
Sandringham line: Buses replace trains South Yarra - Elsternwick until 6.30 (maintenance works).
There's plenty of public-transport options, including extra trains running directly to/from Melbourne Showgrounds, for Supanova Expo today and tomorrow. Limited onsite parking is available.
13.40 Hurstbridge line: Buses to replace trains Diamond Creek - Hurstbridge (a track fault near Wattle Glen).  Buses have been ordered.  Trains from/to the city have delays.
- 14.14 Buses are in operation.
- 15.49 Trains are resuming; delays clearing.  First trains: 16.00 ex Hurstbridge; 14.42 ex Flinders St.
Sandringham line: Buses replace trains South Yarra - Elsternwick from 22.30 until 5.00 Sun 6 Apr (maintenance works).
Trains will operate as a shuttle service between Caulfield and Frankston from 23.00 until 5.00 Sun.7.4 (works).  Change from/to a Pakenham/Cranbourne train.  Passengers for Hawksburn, Toorak, Armadale or Malvern, change at South Yarra or Caulfield for a replacement bus.
Public-transport disruptions are happening through Autumn (infrastructure projects).
