The L2/L3 rails are enclosed in a hard insulating sleeve, and the concrete was poured around that. In theory it would seem that the rail and sleeve could be lifted out of the channel and new bits dropped back in.

Will the rails and embedding compound neatly lift out?

How will the rails be supported while the new compound sets?
