A couple more pics - these from Friday 23rd.

MMTB tower wagon No 14 started out on the Sydney system and was sold to the MMTB when Sydney' sytem was closing.  When the MMTB retired it it came to Ballarat and was used to erect and maintain the overhead there.

I like the 'sun-roof' in the cab!

Ballarat 38 was in traffic yesterday and W2 407 was brought out for a bit of lubrication in preparation for a bus day on October 2nd.   It started out as P&MTT number 41 and was one of the second generation of drop centre trams built in 1914. It came to Ballarat in 1951.  I have also attached a pic of the car in it's final days in Melbourne, still carrying the white stripe applied during WW2.   The pic is by Peter Duckett and is from the collection of the Melbourne Tram Museum.
