Barcelona is Alstrom's toehold in Spain with the two currently separate lines in the city using Citadis cars dating from pre CAF Urbos times.

I sense the superb marketing of Alstrom here.  They virtually give the APS system to the city for the new line and then say to all the gullible rubes from other cities

"Look even Spain the home of CAF the major city uses ALstom LRVs and APS, you must select Alstom and APS for your wonderful city". I will bet TfNSW has all the latest brochures.
