Having grown up in Glenferrie Road Kew and gone to school along Studley Park Road, Kew Junction was universally considered to be the meeting of High, Denmark, Princes Streets and Studley Park Road: a road junction. No-one ever referred to a tram junction.

It might surprise you to discover that the general population is not tram-focussed 😀!

Yours is the first mention of Kew Junction referring to a tram junction that I've ever heard.
