Re: Tram Accident details requested
  Peter Bruce

Car showing Kew Depot so quite likely running in, could have a bit of a
gallop up and possibly derailed on a curve but I have to say that when
running in I used to take curves really hard and I wasn't the only one and
never felt close to coming off, Mick D for one would probably say the same,
he never hung about. Splitting points a common cause of derailment and I
remember a Camberwell driver going through the derail at Riversdale while
running out to Wattle Park in the AM, 1976 that would have been. Pretty
sure he was four axles off, virtually parked at the kerb. Anyway that Kew
car has gone a long way so obviously going pretty fast.

Regards to all TDUs and all the best for Christmas and the coming year.

Peter Bruce.

P.S. I never got off the road.
