I noticed the same.

My guess is that the reporter's reference to 'back on track' just
referred to being on the move again.

The accident description basically said that the car was T-boned while
doing a U turn, so that would be unlikely to derail one of the Gold
Coast trams.

They don't have the same overhang problem that a Citadis does.
