Thanks Mal. I had saved that photo some years ago and already sent it to Stuttgart.

I think it is from Noel Read and he once told me that he did not post photos of high resolution as he wished to minimise the chance of people stealing his photos for profit.

I expect it dates from when pairs of trams were being emptied out of Fort Macquarie depot. They did the same thing on the last day of Sydney when emptying trams out of Dowling Street depot.
