There is no suburb called Gold Coast, the same with Hervey Bay.

People usually say they live on THE Gold Coast which covers all areas between the NSW border (which actually runs east west down the middle of the Main Street of Coolangatta), the mountain range several Km to the west and somewhere near Ormeau in the north.
