The number of E class trams in Spencer St yesterday gave me the opportunity to get that attached side on comparison of the E1 and E2 cab variations.

You can see that on the E2 the curvature of the windscreen is less and it is at a more steep angle.

This means that the side window of the drivers cab is larger and the panel above that window is larger.

The columns of the cab window are more narrow - and so the turning and hazard lights are smaller, just a double strip of LEDs.
