Ron,

The linebreaker only made a decent noise if power were cut under load. Somewhere like Cutting Off climbing Collins St at Russel St.

I don’t know if W8 cars have linebreakers. If so, there may be a spot on the Latrobe St hills where you might get the sound. Otherwise a friendly driver might make a few pops for you on request.
