RE: Happy Christmas to all our members

David, I am always interested to see your tram calendars.

And a merry Christmas to all the TDU readers and posters from sunny Dromana.

Regards

Bill

Well I generally read all the postings on TDU - well almost all - but I felt that Christmas wishes was a bit early so I wasn't going to reply until much closer to the 25th.

So an early pile of Christmas wishes to all and my annual tram calendar is in production but if the number I sent out last year is any indication then that news will be of little interest to most.

Hi Mal,

Do you ever wonder if anybody at all reads your postings? Do you ever check the Archives to see if it actually went anywhere hours after you have sent one? I know the feeling well!

Anyway I would like to thank you for your Moderator work which at times must be frustrating.

I would also like to thank Malcolm Miles for keeping the Archives working all year.

However my greatest vote of thanks would have to be for your very successful transition from that dreaded Yahoo mob into the Google Groups website.

There are still some contributors using Yahell but it is usually only after I check the Junk Mail box on the iPad that I find their work. That problem does not seem to exist with Google.

Anyway I would like to take this opportunity to wish Mal and Malcolm Seasons Greetings, and same to anybody else who might read my postings.

Regards,

Richard Youl

As we draw close to the end of another year of TDU (17 years old and counting) I want to thank all those who contribute and greet all those who just read - either via email or through the TDU archive at http://tdu.to

Thanks especially to Malcolm Miles for maintaining that much valued archive.

This years 'Christmas Pic' from me dates from soon after I joined TDU and shows the Bendigo Christmas tram, exactly 16 years ago today. That tram is now 'out to pasture' in a Yarra Valley winery.

Mal Rowe - wishing you all the peace and joy of Christmas
