I found it almost unsettling when I visited Loftus as a guest of Ian
McCowan to see Melbourne Z2 111 there, when many much older Zwere still in
daily service in Melbourne.

So it is just fascinating -- or concerning -- to see such a modern
low-floor tram with years of operational life left in it in a museum too.

But then, Wellington has almost-new low-floor trolley buses now parked up
and all the wires ripped down. IIRC at least one of them will be
preserved. May the four bastards responsible rot in the same hell I hope
Clem is in.
