Perhaps need to stockpile a few of these for Bylands in case there
aren't any original E1s left at retirement time.

I had the pleasure to show a visitor from "the East Islands" around
yesterday, and we called past New Preston Depot and workshops.

Attached is photographic information about why a couple of
Melbourne's
E1s now look like E2s at one end.
