The long stub
  Mal Rowe

Route 75 in Melbourne ends in a stub terminus in Footscray Rd about 300m  past the intersection with Docklands Drive.

The passengers have been turfed out about a hundred metres earlier, roughly where the building with a chequer board pattern is visible in the distance.

The long stub serves as tram storage for big events at the nearby stadium, but is otherwise just a long terminus.

In the attached pic, the E is at the corner of Dockland Dve.

In future, this track will probably serve a housing development a bit further along Footscray Rd (at "E gate") but at the moment it's just a long terminus stub.

One day it may even go all the way to Footscray.

Mal Rowe - who sees Melbourne's Docklands as a badly planned and implemented project.
