Promises, promises! Perhaps the record for longest gap in delivery might be held for rail to Doncaster - promised at the opening of Australia's first electric tram in 1889.

West Preston is probably a reasonable proposal, but the locals may be less than enthusiastic given the intense medium rise development occurring all along the tram line to West Preston ... depends on whether they want their quarter acre blocks or the developer's money.

Mal Rowe - would place ANYTHING better to the Doncaster area at a higher priority
