Thanks David; I stand corrected. Haven’t heard anything about it since. It refers to the end of Gilbert Rd – the lake --- would a further connection to Reservoir Station be feasible?

It's probably been promised many times by many parties, but it was certainly promised by Labor in the recent Batman federal byelection, which Labor won. Not of course that the Federal Opposition could build a tram line in Melbourne, but it was a biggie in their promise list.
