When I visited (the former) Domain Interchange yesterday the new tram stop just north of Park St in St Kilda Rd was open.
First pic looks south from the stop.  You can see the overhead for the route 58 tramline swinging west into into Park St above 203.
The tracks here are re-aligned to swing over to the western side of St Kilda Rd at Albert Rd.
What remains of the Domain Interchange platforms is visible between the post in the centrer of the pic and the fence at left.

Second pic looks north west in St Kilda Rd a bit south of Park St.
At this point the tramline is over on the eastern side of St Kilda Rd and the view shows the line swing across to the wstern side - almost at right angles to the original tramway which ran in front of the truck at left and towards the yellow digger behind 5006.
The building further behind 5006 with Toll and John Holland signs on it is on the north west corner of the Park St and St Kilda Rd intersection.

Mal Rowe - never sure about the rules for capitalisation of the names of points of the compass
