Morialta in the early 1950s
  Mal Rowe

I return to sharing more of the delightful pics from our anonymous donor.

This shot is at Morialta terminus - a most picturesque location.

Dr John Radcliffe has kindly provided some local knowledge ... He writes:

/F type 202 is at Morialta terminus, facing south-west. The photographer appears to have placed his camera on the very old colonial era post-and-rail fence on the opposite side of the road - the only location where I was aware of a post and rail fence on the Adelaide tramway system - it shows in most Morialta terminus pictures.////The picture of 202 shows the return destination as Richmond – the service was not through-routed to Richmond until from about 25 May 1952. Any earlier pictures would have shown a “City via Pulteney Street” destination. ////I notice the crew sitting on the rails of the post and rail fence. /

Mal Rowe - noting that another tram numbered 202 now roams the streets of Adelaide
