Not entirely OT as it was designed by the late Rob Caldwell's transport team at NSW Department of Planning for future conversion to a tramway if necessary.

The Department of Planning later got rid of its transport planning section as not being "core business" (town planning sans transport hey). This function now resides in the, er, "competent" hands of TfNSW.
