According to spy's on the Bus-Australia forum a tram sized object
wrapped in thick white plastic has appeared at the Randwick depot.

It apparently arrived in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
It would be odd to deliver a new tram to a half built depot, but
stranger things have happened in this project.
