Lifting tram and electrified rail bridges are not all that uncommon -
especially in the 'low country' (Netherlands/Holland).

Any engineer who claims to be one should be able to look further than
the end of their own nose and find many examples of 'prior art'.

With pantograph operation it's almost a no brainer.

It's a problem that has been solved. Years ago.
