As Mal stated, no 25 was renumbered to No 28 in the final years of the
geelong system. No 25 became a hoo-doo car having been involved in several
accidents. To "get the publics confidence again" it was renumbered to take
the stigma away.

Seen here in the depot after stripping for disposal. It will shortly be
shunted and lifted off its truck which has already been disconnected from
the body.

As Mal said it is now privately preserved, not before spending many years on
a property on the outskirts of Geelong.
