This must be the most dangerous tram terminus of all in Melbourne -- a scissors crossover in narrow Toorak Rd at the Glenferrie Rd corner, with no safety zones, and constant motor traffic with drivers furious at being delayed by the stationary trams occupying "their" road lanes.

IIRC, the reason this terminus is in such a dangerous state is that the local Stoonington council will not allow any improvements and would prefer the trams not to be there.

Are there any serious proposals working their way through to make this terminus safe for trams and tram passengers?

If not, is there any chance of starting a public campaign that would improve things here?
