Schwebe = balance
The line is known as schewebebahn, but the vehicles are labelled Wupertaler
Schwebe AG
I don't know how the term 'danglebahn' became applied to this line.
Normally it applies to transport dangling from cables, not from a rail.

On youtube there are many videos of the line. This one has a lot of
variety:

Just picture one running from Melbourne Southern Cross to Sunshine as an
alternative to RRL, with all those pesky intermediate stations closed. If a
suicidal person tries to jump under one, it will disrupt road traffic, not
commuters.
I have two on file which seem not to have been posted to TDU before. The
photo-archive search isn't working tonight, so I can't check.
Both are from my 1975-76 tour, and are enclosed with this post. I have been
back twice since then.
