I am trying to work on possibilities for the Newcastle situation
that would preserve the raiway and at least allow steam trains to use
the line. My understanding is that there are trams that use AC
current (why can't this be used on roadways?) and therefore if the
tram is only being used on a disused railway there should not be a
problem. Do you agree?
