G'day all, this is probably a bit OT but have just finished reading about the plan to restore San Frans last PCC no.1040. Also the rebuilding of other PCCs in pretty bad shape. (1008, 1009 & 1011)
The pic supplied with the story shows them with grafitti all over & this reminds me of the R & R1 trams in Rozelle Depot.

Having ridden the F-Line in SF in 06, I fell in love instantly with the PCCs, so am very glad these old streetcars will be rehabilitated back to their former glory.

Having also ridden their sister car 1014 at Loftus, I can't wait to see them back on track in a few years time.

Congratulations to all involved in the rehab of these 'cars' & Long Live the F-Line.!!
