-G'day Peter,Geelong,sometimes known as Sleepy Hollow,is 45 miles southwest of Melb.,population these days of about 150,000 I think.The system closed on 25th of March 1956,too early for most of us to have seen it,let alone have ridden on it.Us old blokes are fortunate to have seen the other two provincial tramways which were both beautiful,each in their own way,we are all fortunate that fragments of both survive and operate regularly.Regards Peter B.-- In TramsDownUnder@y..., "Peter D.
