Discussion of "foreign" systems is fine on this list, as long as the subject
line includes "TAN" (for Tangent) or "OT" (for Off-Topic). But keep the
threads relatively short, please!

As the recently closed poll indicated, occasional discussion of such
non-TramsDownUnder systems such as Hong Kong and Calcutta is warranted.
While there were more votes for keeping it "TramsDownUnder" with the
occasional Hong Kong/Calcutta post allowable (a move I personally favored),
the next biggest block of votes wanted to open the group up for their
specific inclusion. Only one voter chose "Keep it 'TramsDownUnder'."

So, gang--please be guided accordingly. I love to see these posts,
especially from the perspective of an Australian or New Zealander.
