Tramways and Urban Transit

There was an interesting letter in the latest issue of
T&UT about mentioning web sites in the magazine. The
editor referred the writer (and readers) to the
excellent LRTA web site.

Would it be worthwhile suggesting that they mention
lists such as this?

Web pages are easily located but the lists do not seem
to be as easy to find.

Any thoughts?

There were two excellent photos by Hugh Waldron (the
world's greatest international tram driver) in the
latest issue. The first showed an M Tram B2 and a
Yarra Trams B2 passing on the LaTrobe Street bridge.
The second showed R 1808 in Swanston Street at La
Trobe Street with W6 984 behind. It made a wonderful
comparison between the Sydney and Melbourne designs
and styles of a similar era (ie the 1930s).
