Sory to sink you but, 750 and 751 actually had PCM control exactly the same
as the Adelaide F/F1 and H type cars, the pan handle cars were originally
what the RC1 cars had.

That's right, Peter. 750 and 751 had Panhandle controls. I never saw themcars
until after they were converted to RC controllers. They were very good
when I drove them as they had a real good workover when they wereconverted
to conventional hand controls.on
Civil Branch had a lot of terminology which was all their own.
One of us ought to go down and interview old Norm Maddock at that museum
the side of Malvern Depot (?) on Glenferrie Road. He was the TramwaysUnion
Delegate for Civil Branch and you had to have been working for theTramways
for at least a year to understand a word he said. I wish I had taped someof
his raves. Like something from another planet.
