John,always cars in the past in Melb.calling the vehicles trams,by
trammies, seems to be a fairly recent developement,post MMTB,I
think.Signs at tramstops read CARS STOP HERE or HAIL CARS HERE in
MMTB days.Sorry if I'm telling you something you already know but I'm
