Auckland 89

Here's one of 89 showing the 5-window end - during a move in 1998 to
on-site display at MOTAT. Been tidied up a lot since then. Will run one of
these days? Any helpers?

We have also rescued 2 other cars of same class in last couple of years: 91
from Horahora on the Waikato River (will be used for parts only except for
the chassis: G Bennett note: we will use that the recreate Auckland
No.304!); also No.147 from Warkworth (will be used in short term as a
Takapuna trailer look-alike behind Baldwin No.100) - then when we get a
"round-toit", converted back to electric. So we will have two ClassM: 89
in original as-built condition and 147 as they finished up - as Don
Larsen's favourite "rush-hour cars"
