AVERT YOUR GAZE, VAL!

Nice looking trolley bus, Graeme. I note the AEC-type front wheel trims. Is
that one of the types you drove? Left pedal power, right pedal brake? I
suppose it would have had steel spring suspension? Where did it work?

Subject: [TramsDownUnder] WGB calling

Thanks for the MOTAt information Bruce and David.......
It makes me quite homesick
Especially when I am going through the old files and seeing all the old
stuff again.

Look forward to seeing 100 and appropriate trailer in the future.
What will happen to Wanganui 14 trailer ?

Bob Murphy laments the passing of the trolley buses in Auckland.
I was just scanning some shots for another Egroup,
So I guess I can spare a shot for him eh ??

Bob, MOTAT has some very fine preserved trolleys.
I am sure they will rise up en masse to inform you in no uncertain fashion
about this.

My picture is of TB 47 at AVONDALE terminus as I was enroute to MOTAt one
fine morning in the 60's

Psst.... I suppose it's OK for me to post a TB pic ??
