It's a fine line between flogging a dead horse and just scrapping sometimes

Don't quite think stripping of wiring is correct. As the graffiti on
ths lower right hand side eludes to "Preservation". Not only did we
get the headlights, we preserved the whole of Auckland tram 89 (circa
1908), now on Display, unrestored but painted (complete with
headlights) in our Trams and Trolley Buses Display.
