CRS, Greg. Must have been 52. Nice cars but for the centre break in the
windscreen.

Another odd car we had at Essendon was one that curved in at the bottom,
rather than have straight sides. And it was a wide bastard. L class I think.
I think it had K-35s but after a year at Bendigo with all their different
types it all kind of runs together.

Hey Bob,

Wish you had driven 51, it never survived the VR system operationally, it
went to a property in Eltham and I'd kill to know if it is still arouns,
cars 50 and 51 were modified standard cars that were along the Peter Witt
lines, when i have a moment I'll scan something for you, what you would
have
driven was 52 and 53 (there was also a 54 that was bought from the VR for
parts) and I loved those cars, I always managed to find a semi comfortable
position to drive them.

Cheers
Greg

I used to drive car 51 Footscray-Moonee Ponds. Is that the type you were
referring to?

I think I'm still cross eyed from the divider down the centre of the
windscreen but it was, otherwise, a nice car to drive.
