Hi John,

Great shots, when you say that the line is a mile long, does that include
the second section, I mean is the extention open yet? I did think they had
a
preserved Liverpool bogie car preserved there too. I was aware that
Blacpool
are running the trams but to what extenet, do they supply the crews? Can
imagine that a one mile line would not be over popular with the crews from
the Blackpool line.

Hi

There did not seem to be any track under construction so I guess any past
extensions are now open. I can imagine a possible extension further down
river but I am not sure if that will happen.

I think they may have a preserved Liverpool bogie car but not sure.

I believe the crew drives over from Blackpool every day. I didn't ask but
that was implied in conversation. They may see it as a change but I would
expect after a week or two it would become a dull run.

The line is worth visiting of you are in the area. Blackpool Manchester, the
museum line at Manchester, Sheffield are reasonably close and the National
Tramway Museum cant be to far away as well.

Best

John
