I for one, am interested in Hong Kong cars, visited there in 86, the street
tramways are incredibly interesting, anyone who has'nt been there needs to
put it on their "MUST SEE" lists. Even the LRT line (with OZ built cars and
the system built by a consortium lead by the Melbourne Tramways) is a
fascinating system, emagine a new LRT system that opens five lines at once
from scratch!

As for Birkinhead, I believe you guys have got the recently restored ex
Liverpool car, would love to hear about that (don't worry, we'll find an OZ
conection somehow!). Just the other week I was the Motorman for a tour run
in B 2001 for the LRTA and Crich, nice bunch of guys, hope they had a good
time, certainly tried to give them some "spirited" running and photo stops
on the "foreign" lines.
