Anorak on Fire

There was a really good movie on Optus pay TV on
Wednesday night called "Anorak on Fire".
It is about a group of trainspotters in England and is
filmed on one of the preserved railways. Could be the
Keighley and Worth Valley.
There is a great portrayal of the "anorak brigade" or
gunzels as we would probably call them.
The central character, Gus, is unexpectedly paired up
with Natalie, a friend of his sister.
And things work out!
It's a really good movie suitable for fans and non
fans. Some of the diehards will see it as the ultimate
railfan sin - getting involved with a woman. But it is
worth a look. It's due to be screened again on
Saturday 13 October.
Paul in Melbourne.
