Funny,
I did'nt see anyone wanting to shoot the messenger in fact, all I have seen
people(including my-self) say, we can't open the thing, if Andrew does'nt
want to try to post anymore, that's his choice, I'm sure even those of us
who can't open his file, are greatful for his effort, I certainly am and I
have seen the ads first hand (along with all other Yarra Tram employees)
before they appeared on TV.

I actually think there are some apologies due to Andrew Cox. It is
not his fault that complainants are unable to (1) download the
Citidas files or (2) play them.
As pointed out in my earlier note on this subject it is in fact
simple to do both - I won't repeat myself.
But what concerns me most is (a) the tone of the "please desist"
instruction and (b)the griping which indicates this is somehow Andrew
Cox's fault. He quite rightly has said he won't be bothered posting
any more files.
I have rarely seen this sort of things on other groups and it is
regretable here. If it keeps up no one will post anything and then
where will we be.
May I suggest that keeping our software up to date (and our knowledge
of it) is our own personal responsibility, NOT (except for viruses)
the posters!
Don't shoot the messenger!
