The windscreen of the Fiducia reminds me of that of the American
Osgood-Bradley "Electromobiles", the competitor to the Brill "Master
Units".
These ran in Scranton, Altoona and New Bedford. The New Bedford cars,
which
had pedal controls, were later sold to Steinway Transit in New York City
for
the Queensboro Bridge service, where they became the last streetcars to
operate in New York State, finally coming off in April 1957.
