One Yellow Circlular disc, followed bay two yellow discs a few metres
later - dont know - is it something to do with overhead power?

One Yellow triangle followed by two yellow triangles a few metres
later - ditto above.

Tells the driver where to cut off for a section insulator in the overhead.
Trams with the pantographs on the leading end cut off for the triangles,
trams with pantographs at the trailing end or pole trams cut off for the
circles. I believe B's cut off for circles regardless of which end is being
driven.

The circles cover all pole trams, rear panto Zs and As (and assume Ws when
they have pantos), and Bs, Cs, and Ds regardless of which end they are
being driven from. The circles have been extended at many places to cover
the 5 section Ds.

I have also seen three discs at some places, and I dont think they are
always associated with preceding single and double discs.

Would this be at facing points? They could be to do with automatic points.

1 white dot
2 white dots
3 white dots

Can't remember between which dots for which activation for the
points. Used to be a set for pole trams (triggered using power on or off
on the overhead) or the transponders.

There shouldn't really be any need for 3 lots anymore, as there is almost
no points controlled from the overhead now.

White Cross - the entire width of the track - Dont ever stop here -
remotely operated catch-points (eg at rail crossings).

Located where? I can't recall seeing any anywhere, at least not on the
regular routes I take.

Riversdale Rd, Riversdale Railway crossing.
