To those that may not know: there have been changes
at Malvern Depot. In the 'Old Shed' roads 4, 5 and 6 were removed and have been
replaced with a long between the rails pit road with a wide portion in the
middle with a crane erected overhead. The rest of this area has been filled in
and 6 road went back in situ in concrete floor. Siemens moved in at the end of
November and have offices in the old Revenue Building. All the Combinos will be
based at Malvern with a few Z3's. No one knows, or is saying, whether we get the
W's back. There have been various rumours, but factual statement as
yet.
Depending upon which drivers you talk to - the
Combino Tram is a dream to drive; or it is so full of problems you wouldn't want
to know. I tend to think that the postive comments are more on the
mark.
